It doesn't sound bad does it? I am going to aim for 200 pages a day. I've done 100 at breakfast and lunch so today looks very achievable:)

message 153: by Brenda, Aussie Authors Queen (new)

Brenda | 79969 comments Mod
Yes when broken down it's definitely achievable unless you're working/driving all day/something else;)

No thanks, Brenda, I'm having a binge-watching dvd weekend instead. I will think of you all as I'm eating my toasted cheese sandwiches!

Could probably do 666.666 books if we were reading children's books. Little Golden Books anybody?

message 156: by Melanie (new)

Melanie I've been reading It by Stephen King (can't find it to link) however I can't read that book in high bursts so moved onto to Crossed as its a much easier book to read in huge bursts.

message 157: by Stef (last edited Jun 05, 2015 06:06AM) (new)

Stef Rozitis ok so 25 pages of Sage Handbook of Play and Learning in Early Childhood

PLUS

32 pages of The Heart is a Lonely Hunter

PLUS

200 pages of Insurgent not because Insurgent is more interesting or particularly well written (the opposite is true) but because it is an easy read with few words per page so I was saving it for the readathon ;) so that I will pull my weight.

257 pages from me so far. Target exceeded ;) (but possibly tomorrow I wont have time to read cause parties

message 158: by Stef (new)

Stef Rozitis Oh! I see in fact I only need about 40 more today...which I was going to do regardless. I really think I will reach my target at least today

That's not scary for me. I'll try and read a few more to cover those who don't read as fast as me and may struggle to reach that goal.

If work as a team we'll make it - or at least frighten the goal )

Kathryn | 3569 comments Suzanne wrote: "I might win the prize for least reading "

Don't stress, Suzanne - I think I might rival you for the least amount of pages read! At least for today, but I'm not too worried. I'll get a bit more reading time in tomorrow, anyway.
