It doesn't sound bad does it? I am going to aim for 200 pages a day. I've done 100 at breakfast and lunch so today looks very achievable:)

Yes when broken down it's definitely achievable unless you're working/driving all day/something else;)

No thanks, Brenda, I'm having a binge-watching dvd weekend instead. I will think of you all as I'm eating my toasted cheese sandwiches!

Could probably do 666.666 books if we were reading children's books. Little Golden Books anybody?
I've been reading It by Stephen King (can't find it to link) however I can't read that book in high bursts so moved onto to Crossed as its a much easier book to read in huge bursts.
ok so 25 pages of Sage Handbook of Play and Learning in Early ChildhoodPLUS
32 pages of The Heart is a Lonely Hunter
PLUS
200 pages of Insurgent not because Insurgent is more interesting or particularly well written (the opposite is true) but because it is an easy read with few words per page so I was saving it for the readathon ;) so that I will pull my weight.
257 pages from me so far. Target exceeded ;) (but possibly tomorrow I wont have time to read cause parties
Oh! I see in fact I only need about 40 more today...which I was going to do regardless. I really think I will reach my target at least today

It's only day one Suzanne..don't put yourself under pressure! Enjoy your reading when you can read - enjoy your family the rest of the time :)

That's not scary for me. I'll try and read a few more to cover those who don't read as fast as me and may struggle to reach that goal.
If work as a team we'll make it - or at least frighten the goal )
Suzanne wrote: "I might win the prize for least reading "Don't stress, Suzanne - I think I might rival you for the least amount of pages read! At least for today, but I'm not too worried. I'll get a bit more reading time in tomorrow, anyway.
Liam wrote: "Total of 406 pages for today so far, and finished The Long Ships - so good!"That is an amazing effort Liam, well done.

I am a little late in starting my reading for this challenge as I have spent busy day getting my colour selection done so my first house can be buit. I have just started Blood Born by Kathryn Fox

So we're in good company ;) I'm reading a teen fiction (younger really!) so I'll finish it tonight and go back to my Nf tomorrow. Every page counts!
I've read pages from The Castlemaine Murders by Kerry Greenwood, A Corpse in the Koryo by James Church and The White Monkey by John Galsworthy to reach a total of 96 pages for today.
Sally906 wrote: "If [we] work as a team we'll make it - or at least frighten the goal ) ..."Thanks Sally, appreciate that.
I didn't get in any lunchtime reading so if you could cover off a few pages for me that would be fabulous...
I'm finishing for the night with 242 pages on my current read. So plus the previous book, that makes 482 pages for today :)
Friday:Read another 30% of A Spool of Blue Thread tonight but it was getting a bit laborious so I put it aside and started on The Whispers by Lisa Unger for 15%.
70 pages + 15 pages = Friday Total 85 pages
Hope tomorrow will afford me more reading time.
Unfortunately got very little in today because of work commitments etc.Hopefully will get more time the rest of the weekend. I am finding one of my books What Have I Done? really slow going as well which is frustrating..
