SOLVED. about a boy who had just gotten out of a mental hospital for trying to kill himself in a really dumb way.. makes friend who's father killed himself by jumping into a river... also creepily stalked a girl and stole her sweater(more inside) [s]

I read this book within the last year or two (and I can't remember title and having seen it while adding to me 'read' shelf.)

Anyway, the boy was going to kill himself by sitting in the car in the garage with the motor running - but his father found him just sitting in the car and for that he was taken to a mental health rehab place.

When he gets out his family has just moved into a mostly glass house that alot of other kids seem to be jealous(?) of. He meets a girl in who's father it turns out killed himself by jumping into a river off a cliff i think. He and the girl go to psychics because she didn't know her father had killed himself.

Also the boy has a crush on a girl who he stars at a lot in school.. he gets paired with her for an assignment but when he tries to join up with her she gets a new partner because she is creeped out by him. He later sees her at the library and steals her sweater. He then keeps the sweater in a box and takes it out and smells it occasionally. Eventually he gives it back to her.

I remember so much about this book, and read it fairly recently, yet I can't find or remember the title! Please help :)
