The book began exactly how I like my romance stories: Big, strong Alpha hero and kick-ass, intelligent heroine; exciting plot, lots of action - and then it slowly fades into boredom and lots of trival blah-blah-blah.
Maybe I try another book of this series - but not in near future.

Difficult: The hero is ridiculously overprotective and overcautions and - yes whiny. The heroine is the ridiculously perfect person everyone loves and - yes whiny too. (Maya Banks has a way to overdo the description of her characters.) But considering what they both endured they have all the reason in the world to act like they did. I just didn't like it. I missed character development, I missed them both working on their relationship and working on their demons from the past. I think I give the other books in the series a try - but keep on searching for a series I really will love.

That's it! Wonderful book with lot's of romance, action, fantasy - just how I like it! I will definitely read other series from the author. I liked both the heroine and the hero in this book very much. But also the sidekicks are very interesting and I can't wait who of them will be the hero in the next book
