author using two names?

Those books should have "Omar Tyree" listed as primary author and "The Urban Griot" as secondary.

1) Downtime by James Allen
and
2) Downtime by Tamara Allen
Ok, so these are the same book, I'm absolutely positive. Tamara Allen is the author's real name, but the book was originally published by Torquere under the pen name of "James Allen."
I've read on a blog dated March 2009 that the book was to be republished by Lulu under the real name "Tamara Allen." However, I can't actually find the book for sale anywhere, with either name, so I'm not actually sure that it has ever been published under the real name.
Regardless, I'd like to combine the two copies since they are the same book. If I were to take the same advice as given above, would the correct procedure be to add "Tamara Allen" as the primary author and leave "James Allen" as the secondary author for that 1st version, then go ahead and combine the two? Because that's what I've gone and done: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/64...
So let me know if I need to change it back...
On a different note -- I also noticed that the author page for "James Allen" in connection with this book is not correct. I mean, there's already a James Allen is existence, and he didn't write this book. What are you supposed to do in this case when you have two authors with the same name?

Point 1 - I would add the pen name info to the author profile so that others are aware.
Point 2 - The Librarian Manual covers this:
http://www.goodreads.com/help/librari...
but in summary:
Authors with the same name are separated by adding an additional space between the two names. You can decide which author gets the second space (unless one is a GR Author, then add the second space to the none GR Author). So yours would look like this (^ are just used to show the space):
James^Allen and James^^Allen
You then need to add the names and links to the authors in this thread
http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
You should also add the following note to each author profile
Librarian Note: There is more than one author in the GoodReads database with this name. See this thread for more information.

How should I include the pen name vs real name in the book profiles for the KM books?

The recently released Born of series previously released under KM is now released under SK, so as we go in general with the name of the book then personally I would leave as imported as long as the name is the one on the book cover.
SK is one of the authors who has undergone some "discussion" in this group, you should check out some of the discussions if you plan to do any work there

Put all the pseudonyms in the author profile
Individual books should be listed with the author on the cover of the book, which I assume is always either Vercors or Jean Bruller? The other can be listed as secondary.

He also writes under the name The Urban Griot. Some of his books, the ones listed under the following link were using only the pen name. At first I thought his real name was supposed to be there but the other sites I checked has this as "Omar Tyree as The Urban Griot" - so I did this.
Then I started thinking that it might be hard for people to find like this.

I can easily undo what I did if need be but if that does need to happen should I use his real name or his pen name or both seperate?
(I don't understand the whole pen name thing either....)
