So I'm on page 57. About 15% in to the book and I have absolutely no idea what's going on. I'm so confused.

I'm just bored because I have no idea what is going on. Lol. And I'm not really liking this 3rd person writing. And normally I don't mind 3rd person. TOG is my favorite series and I love the way SJM writes that 3rd person. It's just a little hard for me to follow along right now.

(view spoiler)[I've read enough fantasy books to know what a ley line is. So I understand that. But I don't understand why Gansey is so obsessed with it. I feel like we should've gotten back story first for me to understand what is going on. But I do get that he's looking for a leyline and has his friends helping me.

The girl, I don't even remember her name, she a whole other ball park for me. I don't get her at all. She hightens other people's powers but doesn't have powers of her own?! I just don't get her. Lol. (hide spoiler)]

The fact that Noah is really dead!? That was a surprise. And I didn't even put two and two together that Whelk was the one who killed him until it was said in the book! I was just like WHAAAAAAT!

Has anyone started the 2nd book? I haven't because I found out the 4th book isn't out in softcover yet. I didn't want to read the first three books and not have the 4th. I went to order it but I have the first three in softcover and don't want the 4th in hardcover. I'm thinking of buying the Kindle edition of the 4th book so I can still do this buddy read with y'all. Because the softcover edition doesn't come out until the end of Fubruary. :/
