It was in a Barnes and noble in 2009.
I only remember a few details about the cover of the book. I
It was a novel.FYI Its not the novel Scales.
The cover was a drawing with some sort of style like harry potter, but not harry potter.

The cover you see a boy's eyes yellow and his skin turning green because of scales, he is a dark type of forrest.
The novel had to do something with magic or something like that.
It was in the children's section.
Please help!

Are you thinking of the U.S. Harry Potter covers (Scholastic) or the U.K. covers (Bloomsbury)? The original covers are fairly different in style.

Bloomsbery the boy was in a dark forest. Turning with yellow eyes and in his it's starting to get completely covered in green scales or green skin something Like. It was also part of a series.
