My contemporary pick is The Sky is Everywhere

My classic pick is The Catcher in the Rye

I looked on the bookshelf and I don't think these have been group reads.

I pick Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell for classic.

For Classic I nominate-
Gone with the Wind
For Contemporary I nominate-
Nothing. I dont seem to be caught with the titles except for Gone With the Wind. Sorry.

If your thinking Gone with the Wind then your so right! It took me a good 2-4 monthes to read the whole thing! I have read some halfway and had to put the books down with some titles above. They simply didnt interest me.

Im getting confused! LOL we can nominate other books not on this list?

Thank you!
Thank you!

Contemporary... hmmm I think I'll nominate Paper Towns

Hey, Holly! Gone with the Wind has already been nominated, even twice, so you can pick something else if you like.

Can you divide the nominations list into CLASSIC and CONTEMPORARY? Or will the voting be for any one of these books (i.e. not two polls, but one) ... sorry if I sound completely confused ...

So excited for the anniversary!
There are so many good ones so far! Its hard to choose.
I will do:
Contemporary: Playlist for the Dead
Classic: Lord of the Flies

Yes BC, we will be dividing it into two separate polls :)

Classic: We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson.

I'll do:
Confess for Contemporary
Gone With The Wind for Classic"
These are just the suggestions for the poll for June. We won't know what the actual BOMs will be yet.
Anything suggested will go in the poll, so if there's anything you'd like to add that isn't on list yet there's still time. :)

Well, I hear the book Ashley's War that I nominated in my earlier post is in the works to be a movie with Reese Witherspoon playing a role.
