As always, a friendly reminder:
This competition is just for fun! It's a way to track books and motivate us to read. There's no pressure to read as many books or get as many points as the year before. Providing points from prior years just gives me ( / Jenna, if she's around) an idea of how to sort the teams. :)

Favourite read of 2025: Oh god, too many... I really liked The Everlasting & Hemlock & Silver in Fantasy... Clown in a Cornfield series in horror... Full Murderhobo and He Who Fights with Monsters in the LitRPG genre... A Rip Through Time series in mysteries... Only Bad Options series and The Light Brigade in Sci-Fi... and I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton... I've read nearly 750 books this year, so far...

Since this year was mostly disturbed because of pregnancy/giving birth/taking care of a newborn/moving house and now it's returning more back to normal, I expect to do better next year.
