Rory exhibited violence towards Holly, responsible for all of those injuries that looked like physical abuse. The locks on the doors were to protect the girls from him. What do you think of Lorelei’s decision to not institutionalize her son?

I got that she thought she could treat him on her own, but she was negligent in her duty to her daughters. Rory was a child and institutionalizing him as a child wasn't a good option but keeping him at home was dangerous to everyone in the house.
