YA Fantasy about rooms with varying treasure value in them possibly guarded by Djinn. The main part is that they are like ruby apples and other jewel type fruits. Read in 2010s.

I Read this book in the 2010s I don’t remember anything from it except there was trees covered in jewel fruit. Like apples and pears. I think I remember a mention of djinn guarding it. And I think it was hidden in a city.

Thank you for the suggestion but no it’s not that one. It’s a bit more of a teenager book than it was a younger kid one. I remember it being a decent length. Probably 300 pages or more maybe.
In the 1001 Arabian Nights, the story of Aladdin has him finding the lamp with the genie near trees covered with jewel fruit. Maybe the novel you are looking for is a version of Aladdin?
I definitely think it might be based on the premise of some of the stories for 1001 nights but I think it’s loosely based on it. I have been scouring lists of books set in Arab settings for a junior ya audience or Aladdin retelling and still haven’t found it. I’m really hoping another detail will come to me.

I’m not noticing anything on those two lists. I really wish I could remember a few more details about this I think there is a detail locked away that will help us figure out this book.
