** Books DO NOT all have to be mysteries. You can use any genres.

** A book can be used only once for this challenge, but can be used for other challenges (Seasonal, World Trip, Ultimate, etc.).

** You DO NOT have to choose books in advance, and can change your mind at any time if you do.

** Do as many as you are able and have fun!


1. Black and Orange are two colors usually associated with October: Read a book with a mostly black or orange cover (at least 50 percent) or with one of those colors in the title.

2. October 3 is Look at Leaves Day: Read a book that has leaves on the cover.

3. October 16 is World Food Day: Read a book that centers around food, or has food on the cover.

4. October 25 is Howl at the Moon Day: Read a book with “moon” in the title, or that has a moon on the cover.

5. October 31 is Halloween: Read a book that features a witch, ghost, skeleton, or vampire.
