Samuel (montsamu) | 50 comments It's time for the April Whispersync Deal Roundup. New deals since the March roundup include:

Ray Chase reading Greg Bear; Mae Whitman reading Cassandra Clare's City of Bones (Mortal Instruments); and plenty more including more SF (The Lost Fleet: Dauntless by Jack Campbell, Bowl of Heaven by Gregory Benford and Larry Niven), more teen sf/f (The Hunger Games, Sarah Fine), fantasy (Sarah Coomes reading Kate Danley, Kevin Stillwell reading Robert Kroese's Mercury Falls), best-sellers (Diana Gabaldon's Outlander), fiction (Chelsea Cain's One Kick, Kathy Reichs' Devil Bones (the basis of "Bones" on TV), Matthew Thomas' We Are Not Ourselves), non-fiction (Bringing Down the House), and more.

Jessica (jessical1961) | 519 comments Thanks for that link. I checked it and I actually already own the Area 51: Nightstalkers books 1-3 so the audio books would be only $1.99 each. I have had the books for quite a long time so this may be just the excuse I need to finally read them.

Samuel (montsamu) | 50 comments Re: "I have had the books for quite a long time" on the main Whispersync page there is a "Find your Match" feature (link text is "Find audio companions for your Kindle books"). I kind of like it, and kind of don't, because it finds hundreds of titles, and you have to keep clicking "load more" etc. But you might find a few more "just the excuse I need to finally read them" titles this way.

There's also a monthly free classic ($0 Kindle, $0 Whispersync upgrade) which this month is "The Blue Fairy Book" and 100 "$0+$0.99" classics as well.

Actually, that was March's free deal. Amazon hasn't released the free deal for April yet. I don't recall ever seeing them go this far into the month without a new offer. I wonder what's going on behind the scenes.

Shawn (shawn123) | 73 comments I wish Goodreads had a "like" button. Thank you for the information I picked up to almost free books and audios just by reading this tread. Now off to do some more research to buy the other two.
