Romance book that's about reincarnation where they both die when they find each other and fall in love, early 2010s but not evermore

The book I believe had a gold ring on the cover like a snake eating it's tail for the hard ack. It was red and black with gold for the color scheme.
A couple had found each other and near the end of the first book realize they are in a continuous fated loop where each time they are incarnated and find each other one of them is killed. I think in this reincarnation it was someone close to her. Brother. Lover that sort of thing. It was written I believe by an actress or someone famous. They were not teenages I believe and it was a series. I think also they were stabbed in their previous life and the end of the first book may have one of them stabbed as well by the villain. It had a major cliff hanger.
