I am looking for a YA fantasy/ romance-ish book about a teenage girls that gets hurt and travels to a parallel univers where everything is in black and white. She meets a boy and teaches him about colors by making him touch warm things and ice. I think it may habe been in a more medieval era.
The girl somwhow comes back to her own universe and is in an hospital.
She does therapies and people try to convince her it was all a hallucination but someone brings a therapy dog in and it's eyes remind her of the boy's.
I read this book in quebec in the 2010's in french but it was more likely translated to french from english, i got it at a public library. It may have been part of a series of book but if it is it's the only one i've read.
