Book I read in elementary, girl gets kidnapped

Hi, I’ve been searching for this book forever, I read it when I 11 so 2014-2015ish, it was kinda scarier for a kids book (atleast I think it was) maybe young adult, all I really remember was that a young girl gets kidnapped and taken to a remote cabin in the woods, she eats corned beef hash, and she makes a help sign out of sticks for an airplane to see. Any input is appreciated!!

Smokey returned carrying three full plastic bags, which he stowed in the back of the van. He handed a box of crackers to Hugh when he got back in the car.

"What did you get?" Hugh asked. "I'm starving."
