Books with main characters who are self-conscious about something other than their weight

I'm looking for books where characters are struggling with body image issues related to something other than their weight.

It could be a big nose, a birthmark, a physical disability, height, skin color, discomfort with puberty, etc. Anything is fine as long as the character is struggling with significant insecurity and self-consciousness due to this characteristic.
