What a great memory. Good for you.
One of the Erin Hunter cat clan books. I forgot which one because I started in the middle of the series before backtracking. I didn't know how series worked as a kid, haha
This will probably give away my age, but I loved Trixie Belden mystery books. That’s the very first books I remember reading. As I got older I progressed to Barbara Cartland and Harlequin romances.
My fourth grade teacher read "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" aloud to us every day after recess... I think that was the book that turned me into a lifelong reader. I read aloud to my kids when they were young; their favorites were Harry Potter, Inkheart by Cornelia Funke, and the Sisters Grimm.
I remember my 4th grade teacher read Little House on the Prairie to the class. I was enthralled - we all were. I was already a voracious reader, but this was a very different type of book for me.
