Okay so it's a book about a boy who is abused. He has stomach ache and then it turns out to be an STD. His mother is abusive and has sex parties or whatever. The boy has a best friend and his best friend's mother (who is a cateror) ends up adopting the abused boy after his mom goes to jail. Also the abusive mom is a doctor I think. maybe a pediatrician
