Middle Grade Fantasy with an evil ghost conductor. Read around 2012-2015.

I read this book probably around 2012-2015. There was an cohort of evil ghosts including maybe a gum ghost, with the evil conductor being the worst and most powerful of all of them. Thats about all i remember, any help would be appreciated!
