K1 Beena | 66 comments Please merge:
https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...
The last edition on the list has an invalid ISBN (9780000001290)

These are duplicates too:

Thank you!

David Raz (davidraz) | 12754 comments Other than that invalid ISBN you specified, I think ISBN 9780096436211, while "valid", is incorrect. The prefix 0 prefix (978-0) is for English books only. Specifically, 0-09 is owned by Random House and this book doesn't seem like one. The rest of this ISBN, 9643621 is the prefix of the other ISBN 9789643621216, which seems correct. 964 is the Iranian prefix, and 964-362 is owned by "Nashr-e Cheshmeh".
I thought I'll check with you before moving forward. Is all of this correct? Did I also also need to merge ISBN 9780096436211?

I merged the other duplicate.

K1 Beena | 66 comments Thank you for noticing that.
What I was able to find is that Nashr-e Cheshmeh has published this title 15 times since 2003 and all have this ISBN: 9789643621216

The only time the title appears together with ISBN 9780096436211 is here, which looks like a copy of GR database; so, like you say, should be a mistake:

I'm a little surprised we have so few editions of Gilgamesh—I would have expected many more. My daughter is a literature grad student, and it's one of her favorite classics.

K1 Beena | 66 comments Thank you; always good working with you!

I thought over 600 editions is quite a lot :) Anyway, I read it when I was a teenager and cannot agree more with your daughter!
