Emmy (emmy205) | 99 comments When I was a kid, I this puzzle book of mazes. The cover had a big tower/pyramid/ziggurat on it, with a maze that could be solved, and the book itself was full of interesting mazes, including a haunted house. I have a feeling if I can track down the title, I might be able to find this on Internet Archive or something like that. I would have read this probably in the 1990s, although it could have been the early 2000s, as well.

I should add this was a book for kids. It was pretty thin, but I'd say around 50-70 pages, maybe?

Adele | 1432 comments National Geographic has a couple books that came out in 2002 that might fit:

Secrets Of The Pyramids: National Geographic Maze Adventures

Storming A Castle: National Geographic Maze Adventures

Drace (dracenines) | 32 comments This sounds vaguely familiar. Was part of the book's gimmick that the mazes were extremely hard? Also, were there other mazes in the book themed after ancient temples and alien spaceships? I can't remember the name of the book I'm thinking of, but it might be a good way to get on the right track.

Drace (dracenines) | 32 comments Update: I think I might have found it. Is it Great Explorer Mazes by Roger Moreau?

Link to the book on the Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/greatexpl...

My earlier comment about a bunch of other different themed mazes in one book is because there is also an omnibus edition of a bunch of Moreau's different themed maze books in one volume called Giant Book of Mazes that uses the same ancient temple maze artwork for its cover. Also on the Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/giantbook...
