This book is of Ian and Michaela. Ian is Niall's twin brother. The fantasy and shifting is low in this book, but is a fast read with a cute love story. Looking to read the others book in this series.

This was adorable. Yes, it had 8 ridiculous dates that Ben did not want to go on and they just got worse as they went along, but Nova and his "saves" made me chuckle. I liked Ben and Nova's meet-cute, and I liked how they ended up connecting over the week. This was a feel good story, even if sometimes I shook my head at the absurdity of things.

Ethan is in town to be the Grand Marshall for the towns's Pride celebrations. His childhood nemesis is also involved in the organizing of events.
I enjoyed this story but thought that Ethan and Andre got together rather quickly ( within a week, I think.) I know that time was short as Ethan was a pro hockey player and lived in Seattle.
This seems such a lovely little town to live in, although I am not sure I would like everybody knowing my business.

Review: All the issues I had with the previous installment were amplified here. The FMC, Caroline, was blander than ever with her odd mix of cold-hearted cynicism and uppity airs. The writing featured very little internal monologuing, so it was really hard to understand her thoughts about anything. The dialogue kept going on and on...the characters kept talking and talking... For a rather shortish book, it felt like nothing was happening. The only saving grace was Mrs. Frogerton, Caroline's employer. She was the real brains of the sleuthing operation and also brought some humor and warmth to an otherwise plodding storyline.

Review: #4 of the Billion Dollar Wolf series although reading the book you could be forgiven for not believing that part. There was little to separate the billionaire from any ordinary person who owns a condo, a nice car and has enough savings to pay a substantial bill in a hardware store. I found the MCs to be a bit 'wishy-washy' but overall, I enjoyed the story nonetheless.

Review: As much as I liked the first half of the book - holiday in the Dominican Republic; MCs meet scuba diving; Jonah suffers from amnesia; relationship develops quickly - it's the second half that really got to me. The two men have returned to California and taken up the threads of their lives. For Jonah, those threads lead back to what happened 10 years in the past. The mystery was almost better than the romance.

Review: It was just okay, nothing phenomenal. With all the focus on the MCs' family drama, I wish the families actually showed up on the page more. I personally didn't care much for the romance since it was too instalovey with little substance, but it's a novella, so I can give it a pass.
