**trigger warning**Hi! I'm not sure if it was king, all i know is I read it around 2010-2013 ..i cant remember character names but basically there was a prison guard who worked night shifts and there was SA involving paranormal, i tried researching books involving guards and night shifts but to no avail ...please help! Thank you in advance

Is the prison guard the main character or a side? There are a few paranormal series with prison guards and SA, but in those the prison guard is a relative small part of the story. I can mention that Laurann Dohner has a few books with SA and prison guards. A book that is non-paranormal with prison guards and SA is Sleepers by Lorenzo Carcaterra
