Just checking.....it needs to be specifically Irish whiskey (ie with an "e"), and not Scottish whisky (no "e")?
Anika answered this for the mods: Scotch falls under the umbrella of "whiskey"--bourbon, rye, Irish whiskey, and Scotch are all different examples of "whiskey" so all will be accepted.
I read Pastime by Robert B. Parker on the plane last weekend (and enjoyed it very much) - anyhow, there def is beer drinking in it and I think whiskey as well. Just in case you are stumped!
