SOLVED. YA Fantasy about a girl who turns out to be a fairy princess and can step between worlds. Read around 2005-2010.

It was a book from around 2005-2010. It was about a teenage girl who discovered she had the ability to step in between her world and the world of the fairies. She happens to be the youngest princess and they all get "powers". Her's is to step between worlds and one of her sister's is to speak with animals. They are all born with wings and have holes cut in the backs of their clothes until they decide to stop having the holes made meaning they are growing up. She is allergic to iron and her other sister who didn't get a power/gift turns on her and her family. The main character is forced to marry someone and their hands are encased in amber, when she steps forward to bring him into the mortal world he is left behind as she doesn't love him (or something). The antagonist had charmed her a bit before this but she was in love with someone else who was sent to protect her.
I also remember that the worlds overlap in specific places, like the hedge maze and in certain parts of the castle. The castle in the mortal world is a historical castle that is no longer lived in.
I remember it having a sequel too but I can't for the life of me remember it! Please help!
