H | 48 comments This is mostly for fun! What is the weirdest book that you enjoyed?
I'll start:
The Cold Cereal Saga by Adam Rex— a middle grade series in which a cereal company that is Totally Not Kellogg tm is kidnapping the magical creatures that is represented by their mascots and using them as ingredients in their cereal.

Why Cheese? By Ellen Mint. I haven't read this book but it is so bizarre that I want to try it should I find a copy. It seems to be a romance novel in which the love interests can shape-shift into cheese.
I'm interested in seeing what you came across!

Wil | 29 comments I wouldn't say it's necessarily super strange, and more like I kind of had absolutely no idea what was happening most of the time but loved every second of it and read it cover to cover in one go 😅

"How To Live Safely In A Science Fictional Universe" by Charles Yu

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 388 comments This fits both categories, because I listened to it as an audiobook (one of the only books I've ever listened to) and I now have a physical copy I want to read: Fortunately, the Milk by Neil Gaiman. I found it so amusing, but definitely weird 😆

Also, I want to try Brooding YA Hero: Becoming a Main Character (Almost) as Awesome as Me by Carrie Ann DiRisio. It sounds so quirky, lol.

This books sounded interesting from the paragraph on the back. But the description on the back was not actually for this book so I was terribly confused from the very beginning. I have completely finished the book and I still have absolutely no clue what is going on. The only way I can describe this book is a cross between-
The hunger games
Star trek Borg
Princess diaries
And taken
I could not follow along between the different countries,it was very difficult picturing what the author was describing, and nothing seemed to make sense. Nothing flowed into the next part of the story. It was all over the place and new ideas. Objects words governments were presented, just randomly through the entire book.
I finished the book because I was very interested to see how it would end, but it doesn’t end. The last word in the book is read book 2, which I am not going to do.
