Steppenwolf
question
Is suicide the only way to stop inner conflict and did Harry have to kill himself?

I love how inner conflict is presented in this book, especially in the end. Do you agree with the hopelessness shown in this novel?

When Steppenwolf realises that a person is not just made up of two parts but of many, I think he kind of feels a respite; however, this realisation is too late in his life, by which he has already suffered through a lot; and quite frankly, he realises not much can be undone when it comes to himself.
