I fixed up my errors with the month in previous postings. Must be in denial about the year going so fast!

April: The Architect's Apprentice by Elif Shafak - Read 5 Apr - 4*

I listened to this longish historic fiction/literary book, but felt I would have got much more out of it, if I had read it. I have mixed feelings about audio books. I am fine with e-books, but not so sure about listening to a book, unless it is a very simplistic plot.

This book was an amazing look at the world of the Ottoman Empire through the eyes of Jahan the main character. Jahan is an elephant keeper to Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and later becomes an apprentice of the architect Mimar Sinan.
