Oh thanks so much! You can still access the challenge in the archives and I'll still be prompted if you make comments. I'm always interested to see what you have to say. You read more deeply than I do, I think.
I would be up for some buddy reads in banned books if you're interested in any others. The next one I plan to read is Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood.
Have a fantastic year!! And, thanks so much for the positive feedback.

Maybe Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood later this month or February? Let me know what works for you. I'm a bit behind on planned reading at the moment but what's new?

Book - Imitation in Death
Author - J.D. Robb
Date Read - 1/23/25
Rating - 5 Stars
Review - Love this series. The banter between Eve and Peabody makes me LMAO.

A New Hope: The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy by Alexandra Bracken. I gave it two stars. Not for me, though pre-teen readers might love it.

This was pretty cute - I didn't read the other series that ties in with it so I might have enjoyed it a little more if I had done that. But still liked it and will continue this series

This book drove me crazy with some stupid stuff - a great runner who apparently can't run faster than a 10 minute mile, an MC that owns and does all the baking for a coffee/bakery but sleeps in until 6:30/7:00am every morning. Then both MC's make some TSTL decisions that even an idiot wouldn't make. Ends on a cliffhanger but I don't even care enough to read it.

This is just adorably cute and I'm enjoying it.
