And I like the second chance idea in theory, but for myself, i probably wouldnt have many second chance books, because i rarely dnf books and when i do, i dont usually find a reinterest in them until like a decade or more later. But it might be a good idea for people who dnf a lot of books due to lack of time when they start reading it due to being busy or just in a different mood.

There seem to be two ways this happens with me. When I get done reading a book, I sometimes:
a) notice a book on my TBR list that I think would be a perfect follow-on to the one I just finished.
b) while I'm reading or finishing a book, I see one of the nominations in the monthly poll that would be a perfect follow-on and it doesn't win the poll.
I'm sure there are other ways to hit upon a title that you'd love to read right after the one you're finishing, but it's a time crunch.
Does that make sense? Sometimes a book is perfect timing, and when it is, it's much more enjoyable.
Reading a good book at the wrong time can make it less meaningful, at least I've had that happen. I have a few DNF'd books I want to give a second chance. Hey, maybe that would be a challenge possibiity: Second Chance Books, try again with a book you abandoned and see if you can finish and if you changed your opinion from the first time you attempted it.
