In this P&P variation Darcy clearly has a migraine the evening of the assembly & Elizabeth takes him to a dark room where he can recover. Also Mrs. Bennet stops to help him, maybe giving him a special tonic she uses for her headaches as well as some food. I read this within the last 2 years I’d say. It is not the book A Different Impression by Melissa Anne. The only thing I recall about this book is the beginning and the fact that the events that transpired during the assembly set it up so that there were softer opinions between Darcy & the Bennetts.
