Hemmel M. | 402 comments Good job, Julie! I already tried to gift people but their Smashwords collection is missing or they inadvertently chose epubs, while their amazon wishes point to Kindle.

👏👏👏 Actually, I probably need to remind myself how to do this.

Isaiah (jugglingpup) | 180 comments Y'all, I need to just marvel for a minute. Today I was gifted my ONE HUNDRETH book in this giveaway. This is my 11th year and I am already at this many books sent to me. The genoristy of this group knows no bounds.

Just, thank you all for making this the best winter tradition.

Thank you, Heather for arranging this every year.

I just look by name, and any epubs can be converted back and forth. I just check books on smashwords if I want to gift there!

Anyone else here, who sometimes comes across double purchases? It's a pity you can't give an epub away after reading.

Sheri | 646 comments Hello all!
I've been meaning to swing by and say hi. I'm so sad to miss this year's book extravaganza party. I thought maybe I could join but I've been battling something for several weeks and I've been in bed before the sun sets most days. It's been weeks since I've finished a book and I have some new holiday gems that I can't wait to get to.
I'm so thrilled to see all the excitement and happy book lovin' flying around. I shall pop in when I need a smile. :)

Deb, good luck with your surgery!
and Ami...*gasp* you're missing this year too?! It must be a big end of the year. *hugs* Hope it all goes well and I'll plan on jumping back on this crazyfuntasticbook train with you next year.
Doc H *big squeeze* You truly are the best and this group is blessed to have you coordinate the fun (and sometimes chaos) this party brings.
xoxo

Hemmel M. | 402 comments Sheri, did you ever try audiobooks? It's ideal for lying down. For the one title free Audible option, I recommend Brothers of the Wild North Sea.
But the Will & Patrick Wake Up Married series is available as box set, so that's a 6 novels for free deal.

message 69: by Trio (new)

Trio | 156 comments I'm not sure what to do about this... The very thoughtful One-click-a-holic Elf gifted me with the audiobook version of The Memory of Us by Camille Di Maio ... BUT
this book isn't on my wish list, and I'm afraid I really won't listen to it.

One-click-a-holic Elf, do you want to send it to someone else?

I don't know how to reach you other than posting here. It was very thoughtful and generous, but I hate to take something I probably won't use, maybe someone else can claime it, or you can return it and get something else?

Just let me know what to do - thanks again, so much :)

Heather I wonder if you could ask my Santa if they are okay? Because they sent me a gift on November 22 and specifically said they will be back and I am just honestly worried ( especially since I suspect I may know the person - but I am not sure, just have my suspicion :-))

There is a way to check on the books you sent out. Go to Smashwords. In the top menu you will see "Home" "Library" "Profile" "Account"

Click on Library. Under the top blue menu there will be "Welcome to your Library ... blah blah blah" and under that you will see Smashwords Alert, E-book Deliver and Purchase Order.

Click on Purchase Order. Scroll all the way down to find the gifts you sent out. There you will be able to see if your gift was claimed or not.
