I've switched up my secret elf name each year, but others keep theirs and never reveal their real self. Like Little Bit Wacke Elf has been around for years, Click-A-Holic Elf too. And the Booty-Shakin Wiener Wacker also, just to name a few.

Some people switch each gift.

i use both new elf names and old. i never reveal myself in case i decide to re-use the my elf names, which I have done in the past. this year i used a new name.
