Monthly Challenge: November 2024

Welcome to our monthly Listopia Madness challenge. It is a relatively simple challenge. Every month you will get 3 listopia lists from me and 3 from the winners of the previous month. *Please note that if you do not respond in a reasonable amount of time that the 4th place person (and so on) will replace you until we get 3 lists.

How it works
📘You will read as many books as you want from as many of the lists provided as you want.
📘You will score each book using the point system provided below
📘You will keep a running tally of your total in your post (try to keep your books in one comment, if possible for easy tracking)
📘I will contact the 3 highest-scoring readers at the end of the month and they will each choose one listopia list to be included in the next month's challenge.

Challenge rules:
📘No poetry or cookbooks allowed.
📘Standard Rules Apply

Q: Can we read a different book in the series than the book on the list?
A: Not for this challenge. We are focused on the listopia for this challenge.

Q: Can we use a different edition than the one on the list?
A: Yes, it is the same book so the edition you use does not matter.

Jenny | 2149 comments Hey Listopia geeks. It took me this long, but I figured out an easier way to track whether a book you read is on one of the lists. If you vote on one of the books on each list, then that little green check mark shows up when you are looking at the listopias your book is on. Saves you from having to read and remember the titles of all of the listopias that we have each month.

If you all have already been doing this, feel free to point and giggle.

message 10: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments Lol! I am doing that, but only started last month 😆

And I only vote for a book already there, I don't add any until after.

message 11: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 2149 comments Yup. That's what I meant.

Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit.....

I never thought about voting on a book already on the list!

message 19: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments Thank you!

And before everyone shouts at me for my pick this month

A. It's perfect for Wheel
B. The first list has just about everything on it, so it's a good time to pick it, I thought 😆

message 20: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 2149 comments Well, it gives me an excuse for finally reading Anna Karenina. But not this Wheel round, as our word has no A in the letters.

message 21: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments Yes! It's a great book. It's good for O as well 😁
