Anything by Agatha Christie. You will never figure them out(at least, I didn’t)! I’m currently reading a series by Lynn Messina called the Beatrice Hyde-Clare mysteries, which are called Regency Cozy Mysteries. I love it. It has so much witty banter, which I believe is hard to find these days. And Beatrice is an unlikely heroine, bucking the trend of heroines by being described as plain faced and awkwardly shy and unsociable. Love her!
