Just finished my last book that I'll be able to finish before this round ends! It works for a bunch of different mini challenges so I wasn't sure where to put it - it is the 3rd book in a series, it works for Germinate, Plant, Mulch, Feed, or Prune (wedding - ding). I didn't check the food words since all of those are filled out already.

COUNTRY REMINDERSHey Team - just a reminder that for the country needs to have AT LEAST 5 tags to work for the task. After the author there will be a "shelved [x] times as [shelf name]" - the shelves I linked are the easiest way to find these; but just being on the shelf is not enough to qualify them. The lists are in numerical order; so once you get to the end of the 5s there won't be any more on later pages.
I'm still reading A Clash of Kings and I'm pretty sure I'll finish it before the deadline. I'll update it on the sheet as soon as I do!

@Sanz - Got it added! Note that it will be Sunday for you so the actual date will be the next day. For example - this round ends on November 9 but it will be Nov 10 at 2:30am for you! I don't have a really good place to note that on the spreadsheet.

I will be leaving the house in about an hour and won't have access to my laptop until later today. I'm not sure about the other team captains, but I know Saturdays typically aren't easy days for them to be on.
So the sooner you're able to get them logged, the better I think.

Mini Spreadsheet NoteJust a quick note, lest I forget to mention... now that round 2 is locked in, anything that we applied to the mini and read in round 2 is ALSO locked in. I've highlighted in red the books that we can't shuffle around; mostly so us captains don't forget.
But I wanted to give everyone a heads up that the red on the mini tab doesn't mean anything bad and please don't move any of them because it will just be more confusing later! :)

Question for the mini, I had added 2 more books that are now missing, did I do it wrong? I had Main Street for G46 - consecutive letters, and Sense and Sensibility for G50 - repeated set of two letters.

Yikes! I'm sorry. Hope your knee feels better soon. And you absolutely didn't do anything wrong. We do sometimes have to adjust things that people put in to make everything work that gets turned in. :)
I just logged Memoirs of a Geisha in the tracker. I'm traveling the next few days... attending a friend's wedding. I won't be checking into the group but will try and keep the tracker updated – at least with the book title and date read if I can. Anway I should be back online on Wednesday so I'll be back in plenty of time to update my progress before the round ends :)

I'm not sure if the book I just finished qualifies for this game or not. I started on Oct 24 and was added to the team Oct 30 and told "Any book read during Round 2 may be used."
Let me know if I should add to the spreadsheet or not.
Ugh I feel bad but I didn't care for any of the BOM so unless I am in charge of questions I probably will not read any of them.

So I just asked in the captains group to get a consensus on this for you my dear. I would say it's ok as it was read within the game time even if you started later, but we'll see what they say. :)

Mini UpdatesOkay we had a little bit of weirdness with the minis, but we're SO CLOSE to completing the Admin mini for the first time AND the Gardening mini for the second time!
1. Theiryn - Did you finish Vol 6 of The Husky and His White Cat Shizun? It was marked read on the mini challenge log but there's no date read on the round 3 books and it's still on your currently reading shelf. Just double checking because that's the last book we need for the Gardening Mini!
2. Not sure where we crossed over, but Catherine's Ready or Not was already locked in to A01 in Round 2 so we aren't able to move it to A07 (main character works in finance). SO we needed to swap that back out which means we still need a finance MC. If anyone has one that they've read, give a shout. Otherwise I'm working on an audiobook with about 3 hours left that will fit.
Once we get those two points sorted out; we can lock in those and start reading for another pass of each of those minis!
At this point, I've filtered out all the books on the mini tracking sheet that have been locked in as we won't be able to move them around. It makes it a little easier to see what we have outstanding.
For planning purposes I've gone ahead and added another set of Gardening AND Admin tasks; since we should definitely be finishing them soon. BIG HOWEVER THOUGH: please keep in mind that books for these new passes can not be finished before we read the last book for the prior pass is complete. That means we can not backfill any books we've read but are unused for a mini; and it also means that while we can start planning and reading any books we finish before we finalize the prior pass will be disqualified. We'll give a heads up when we finalize each mini so you'll know when finishes will be acceptable!
Round 4!Round 4 words are out and we have... School Forms, which is a great short spell; except for the fact that it has so many Os. We're going to need at least 24 of them, yikes.
New tabs are out to start planning - so feel free to fill them with O books! :)
On a personal reading update note:I'm going to go finish up The Love Wager so we can knock out the Admin mini today.
Once I'm done with that, I'll focus back on So Let Them Burn for the Jamaica task; but with induction tomorrow night I'm not sure what my timeline is like for that. So if anyone else wants to pick up another Jamaica book since we're getting pretty close to the end of that mini as well, feel free to knock me out. As long as I'm still reading; I'll keep an eye on the spreadsheet and I'll be able to pause on finishing that and move it to the next pass of the mini.
I added some books to Round 4 that I'm hoping to get to since I currently have them all out in audio on Libby, but we will see how the next few weeks pan out. I mostly wanted to get all the information sorted out and recorded for the letters/mini tasks for them to make it easier on me. ;) But feel free to shuffle them around. :)

Captains' question - just want to make sure I understand this correctly - we can't post books to Gardening #3 mini until Thieryn finishes The Husky and His White Cat Shizun: Erha He Ta De Bai Mao Shizun (Novel) Vol. 6, am I correct in this? I have a book or two that could fit but don't want to add them if I shouldn't.
Ok so I had a little bit of time this morning and I decided to close out the Gardening mini so anything more finished will count towards the next round through. I picked up a #6 in series that was a short quick read. When Theiryn finishes we can just use in the next round of the mini. :) I added it to the main spreadsheet as well just so that we are clearly done with the mini. :)
Also - there's a NEW MINI AnnouncementKey thing here is we can't start this one unless we've completed all 3 of the others at least once. We're still a couple books away on the Feeding the Family mini, so if you have claimed one of those pesky country tags and can focus on those books first that would be awesome. :D
I'm still slowly working on my Jamaica book (in between nurse visits because induction is going VERY SLOW) so if anyone else wants to pick one up to get that mini completed feel free to boot me!

It looks like Thieryn has 3 of the unfinished tasks claimed. If she doesn't mind, I'll see if I can find a book to clear at least one of them.
