GB: I Love Green Ghosts and I Can Not Lie (continuing)
Is this correct? If so, Rachel, that leaves open the white cover and a book with a sailor. Do you have a preference?👻Read a book with a white cover (min 50%)
👻Read a book with a character who is a sailor
👻Read a chunky book (min 700 pages) Jenny
👻Read a book with a character who travels a lot (can be for fun or work) Carrie
It is correct. I jumped on the one because I was almost finished with a book that worked for it but if someone needs me to read something else, let me know. 🙂
Vicki, I don't have a preference so feel free to pick one. I don't have a book already picked out and I'm sure I can find an option for either one.

Love it! Jenny, why do I feel like you're naughty girl? But you do sound like one hell of a fun time!
Teehee. It's a quote from one of my favorite books-
, and the author had t-shirts made up years ago.

Scoleri Brothers:
The Scoleri Brothers, Nunzio & Tony are a ghostly pair of psychopathic brothers. They are killers who were sentenced in 1948 by Judge Stephen "the Hammer" Wexler for murder and sentenced to death by execution. The execution was performed at Ossining Prison via the electric chair. It's been over 40 years and some negatively charged Psychomagnotheric slime (or mood slime) among some court exhibits has manifested the Scoleri brothers in their ghostly electric chairs. Can you and your team capture them?
Tasks
👻Read a book with a hammer on the cover
👻Read a book with a character who has to go to court or works in a courtroom
👻Read a book with all the letters of JUDGE in the title
👻Read a book with 40 intact in the page count (example 340 pages)

Nothing on my TBR is jumping out at me for any of these, so if you guys have stuff, I will find something that fits the remaining task.
I have a book in progress where a character is in court but could easily do any of the others if needed. I also have a book with JUDGE in the title that I want to read, so those 2 would be my preference.
OK. I found a book with a hammer on the cover free on audible. I am very scared to try it. teehee
Think the hammer is big enough? This book has no ratings on GR and is read by a computer. For three hours, I am willing to take one for the team though.
I also found a couple books that will work for 40 intact in page number.
So. Thoughts? Should I take the hammer task?
I think you should take the hammer task and I am curious to see if you like it. At least it's short if you don't care for it.I need to finish my book with the guy in court for tw, so should I take that task or find a different book for another task?
Two other tasks are--Read a book with all the letters of JUDGE in the title
-Read a book with 40 intact in the page count (example 340 pages)

How it Fits: One of the characters, Basil, is accused of murder and goes through the court process where the jurors and judge hear the case.

I'm so sorry...let me take a (hopefully) quick look and let you know. :)
lol Found this one Kill for Me, Kill for You 340 pages, so I'll do that one if JUDGE works for you. :)
I hope so! It's from NetGalley and I'm trying to catch up a little before the end of the year. I didn't reach my NG goal this year.
I am absolutely not, I repeat not, recommending my hammer book.It was so odd, and not in a good way. Almost no dialogue. Almost a historical treatise on the Vikings and Thor and Odin et al, but not really. Battles, and a magic dachshund, which might be a part of Valhalla that I missed, but just wow. I was grateful that it was edited for grammar and sentence structure, but not content.
Oh well.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all you wonderful people! Even if you don't celebrate it, it's always good to count your blessings anyway. I just got news of a new blessing today: My granddaughter, Madilyn, just told me she's 9 weeks pregnant. So I will be having my 8th great grandchild due the end of June 2025. :)
Congratulations on the new addition to be in your family! Such wonderful news! And yep, I read the message wrong. I’ll find a judge book!
Sorry all. Still working on my book. My husband had to have surgery and I had less time to read. I’ll try to get done soon!
