I've watched Harry Potter and I absolutely loved it!! Maybe someday I'll try reading the book version too ❤️
I was always an avid reader through school but what sticks with me is when I was around 13 and read a book named The Vast Fields of Ordinary by Nick Burd that I found at a discount store, thought it was going to be an, "eh" read and I kept that book with me to this day. I read it over and over and then after that I always had my nose in a book (Even more so than before) and would go to the library from open until close! I am now 27 and still a bookworm (:

@Vivieee Good thing her books atleast got you into reading!! No hate but after hearing so much about coho books, I'm glad I never read any of her works!! :)
@Melissa you're right someone has to be brave to have the ritual or haunting Adeline as their first read. Because my first read ever was haunting Adeline too!! :)
A Series of Unfortunate Events is the first book series that comes to mind that I really sunk my teeth into as a kid
i didnt become a reader until 2022 and it was november 9 and then hopeless that did it for me
I read the "Whatever After" series by Sarah Mlynowski when I was in 3rd grade. That's as far back as I can recall loving books...lol

The first book that got me back into reading was ugly love by Colleen Hoover. Looking back, I would not read it again, but I am forever thankful that Colleen Hoover got so many girls back into reading.
Cant exactly remember, because I had hyperlexia I started to read grade 8 level novels by the time I reached grade 2. But, I believe I read the complete harry potter collection in grade 1 to get me started.
My first book was a romance called Blue Seoul nights.
My first ever book (that I can remember) that started my addiction was Enders Game, which led to the whole series. Had a 5 year slump and Lightlark by Alex Aster was the book to get me out of my slump. Ever since then, I’ve just been devouring books🫢

In elementary school: magic tree houseand rekindled my love for reading in adulthood with historical fiction which has since evolved to romance and fantasy :) Bringing down the duke is really what kickstarted my reading as an adult
Percy Jackson was my first and I'm pretty sure that I will love all books till the end
