1. Take meds + cough drops + a good cough syrup that works depending on the type of cough routinely like for 2 days or 1.5 days
2. Take steam, use a facial steamer, in the west people use it for pores and shit but take a towel, cover ur face and dig ur face in, my mom and I and our fam, we don't even use steamers, u can use a bowl/vessel + if you can bear it, add a bit of vicks vaporub to it, helps with cold and headaches, minimum 5 mins and make sure you sweat !
4. turmeric milk every night before u go to bed while u r sick or if you're lazy, some turmeric, salt, hot water, mix, make a mini shot and chug
5. sounds disgusting but try to get ur nasal mucus out as much as u can, you'll be able to breathe better
