Review - This is book 9 in The Vampire Knitting Club Series. IT's a run of the mill normal cozy mystery series that is light and easy to read. I'm normally not a cozy mystery reader, but the series title grabbed my attention.
I listened to Maya Angelou reading her autobiography I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. I can't recommend highly enough. It covers her life through age 16 - which is nothing short of amazing. And her voice! Sonorous and rich. I will listen to her any day. Exceptional writing as well.

Rating - 4 Stars
Review - This was an entertaining horror novel. Normally slasher books are not my jam. I like my horror novels to be on the paranormal or creature feature side, but this was impressive. I almost DNF it because the first part is a bit boring, but it picks up right before the middle and just keeps going from there. There are a couple of twists. One I did figure out and one that I did not till it happened.

Review - This is book 15 in the October Daye Series. Toby and Tybalt are finally getting married....Woo hoo....But do you think they can do so without any issues cropping up and Toby being stabbed? Absolutely not. This is another entertaining novel in the world of October Daye, her friends, and her loved ones.
I'm only going to get to 3 of my picks this time... sigh. Just too much going on.I finished

by the end of the month.

For October and November, the theme will be Cozy Autumn.
You can load your shelves with books that fit the theme in any way - including books you want to read while snuggled up watching football!
If you want a little help, a few suggestions are offered below.

An Autumn scene
Food or drinks (Candy-Halloween or Cozy Meals-Thanksgiving)
Halloween items
Thanksgiving items
A cozy fire
Coffee and pie
Books with:
Titles beginning with a letter in COZY AUTUMN
Authors initials are found in THANKSGIVING
A book that set during the holidays or season
Story fits the theme
Use your imagination and have fun!!

📚 Return once partners are assigned to pick books for your partner.
📚 Read the books picked for you from October 1 - November 30.
** Keep in mind that the level you choose corresponds to how many books you want to read over the 2-month period, so you may want to modify your level accordingly. **
Initial sign-ups are open through Friday, September 27th.
Partners will be assigned on Saturday, September 28th
