He's so young looking and giggles like a little school boy. I could never believe that this man was almost 50. I've read some big age gaps before, but this one weirded me out for some reason.

Review: This is a fun read with so much sexual tension. My issue with Ella Frank is my mind is entertained but my heart is rarely engaged. It would have been nice if there was more of a story or some character development.

Looking pretty good. Amanda needs to post a completion from week 4 but otherwise things are only outstanding from week 6.

Let me know if I missed a post :)

Review It was really cool getting to read about a place that I know absolutely nothing about and I felt like although it's fiction, we got quite a few peeks into the actual history. Not my usual genre, so didn't quite hit for me, but it was good.

The timeline in this is weird and hard to follow. It feels like it jumps around, but I'm not sure it does...just strange. Also, there's no plot beyond the romance. There's nothing interesting happening in the background to keep my interest.

Review:
Another cosy mystery solved by Lila and her Filipino family when death threats to everyone involved the Miss Teen Shady Palms pageant undercover all sorts of secrets and murder. The love triangle is a cute side note and the issues of mental heath are addressed after the intense events of the first book in the series. The funny multicultural and family dynamics remind me of the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding in all the best ways.

This was 100% the best book of the series so far. It felt like a more complete story than the other ones and part of that might have had to do with the fact there wasn't a bunch of extra characters running around taking up screen time.

Review: This was extremely entertaining and though dramatic in parts, it was so satisfying to see characters who deserved it truly put in their place. I also loved exploring Holland through the eyes of our characters. The reason I gave this is 3.5 and not a 4 is it felt a little hollow, giving the laughs but not the emotional depth that takes me from like to love.

Review:
I enjoyed this urban fantasy just as much the second time. The series has an interesting spin on mages and the characters are well written with multiple POVs. My only gripe is that Silver has been kidnapped again and again. Silver and Adam's confession was a relief and I'm keen to see what happens with the cheetahs, especially Logan, in the next book in the series.

Review: Fantastic monster filled post-apocalyptic romance. Howl's Moving Castle is one of my favourite movies and I love how Mell has taken a fantasy story and made it sci-fi. I also like how she's taking the villain and making him the MC of the next in the series. Can't wait to see what she does with it.
