Sorry for the delay - I never hit the next button for post 51-53 - I actually have been checking and thinking we were stuck at post 50. YIKES - this is my first time moderating - I wish I had gotten a notification that there was activity on 370 - I look twice a day!
ANYWAY - WELCOME TO THE GROUP!! And thank you Loralee for the heads up in messages!
I see from the listing that Loralee is scheduled to read my book Search For The Centuries Prize. I should point out that this book is the final refined form of the previous book 7 Spirits, 4 Friends that Loralee has already read.
The writing style is different, but the plot and characters are the same, so Loralee might feel bored reading the same story again?
Something to consider anyway. :-)
David, this is information that needs to be disclosed the moment you sign up for rounds. Just glancing at your author page, it *appears* as if you have five books available. But since you are now saying some of them are duplicates, I have gone in and clicked on them, and 4 of the 5 are out of print, so you actually only have one book available for review.Going forward, when you join rounds, you need to clearly state upon sign up that you only have one book available for review because due to the fact that Loralee has previously reviewed you, the only way you can be in this round is if she is able to be in your blind spot, and this will require your moderator to reshuffle the entire list.
Understood. Though I did state clearly when I signed up that I was submitting Search For The Centuries Prize, and I never claimed the other books were still in print. As a matter of fact I really wish Goodreads would let authors delete old books, but they have some weird policy that you can never delete even old works that you don't care about anymore.Also, I only just noticed that Loralee was in my Send To list.
Of course she can still read the book without shuffling the list if she'd like to focus on the change in writing style more so than the characters or plot. Her call.
David, going forward, please say upon sign up, "all my books are out of print except the one I am entering."Loralee cannot reread your book. Hopefully Rik can reshuffle the order, otherwise you can wait for the next round.
OK, if it's too much trouble I don't mind waiting for another round.

If there is a way to move David MacNamera to J.R.'s spot (my blind spot) and move the others up one spot without disrupting other clashes, that would work.

I've read Arriah before, but not this book and Loralee has read me. If Adilyn can move to a lower slot (which shouldn't be a problem as it's their first round—welcome), then I could fit at #4.

Hi Haus! We actually only allow participation in one group at a time. But as soon as group 373 gets started and you finish your reviews, we would love to have you join a new round!

But as a rule of thumb - you will review the 4 books below you on the list, and be prepared to send the four writers above you on the list a PDF or an ebook of your book.
Contact each other via direct message as needed
(Go to the writer's profile page. There is a box under the author's picture that says Follow Author. Next to it is a downward pointing arrow. Click that arrow for a drop down menu. The second listing says "send message". Click that and you're good to go!)

Hi Cecilia! you will be reading the four books below you Scott's, KT's, Loralee's, & Joesph's. You may have to send your book to Adilyn, David, J R, & Arriah. You have 3 weeks to read and review each book. You post a review on amazon and Goodreads, and when they are live, you post the link here in the group. You can go as fast as you like.

Also, even if you have checked, we all need to check our own conflicts and made sure we haven't reviewed any of the four above us (including any multiple pen names we might have), and none of the four below us have reviewed us.

May I just point out to Cecilia that this isn't a clean round? It's General, where all kinds of books are acceptable. Be prepared to read anything.

Please hold off on that, Cecilia. We're going to do final checks first before anyone starts exchanging books. And then once everyone in the group has verified that they are good to go, your mod will give you final instructions about when to start reading, what books you will be reading, and which people to send your book to. Thanks! :)
