Hi, so I've been looking for this book for a while now. It was on the summer-reading list when I was in middle school I think it was either 2011 or 2012.

It helped me a bit when I was younger. So, basically it's about a teenage boy who slowly realizes he's gay and comes to terms with his sexuality. He's depressed and does things like pretend to be dead by lying down next to a kitchen-knife in his front yard. At the end of the book he makes an attempt at his own life, but thankfully survives. Then his friend buys him concert tickets to Lady GaGa.
