Cheryl (cherylllr) New plan! Book of the Month discussions aren't going well; apparently we seldom have interest in the same books, much less at the same time. Use this folder to talk about whatever you want to recommend (or warn us to avoid).

Maybe you'll be lucky and someone else will have read it recently and you can have a mini-discussion!

Steven (politicoprof) | 112 comments I read Shattered Time. I gave it 4 stars. It pits a kingdom in Africa on an alternate timeline and two inventors of a time-travel device looking to both profit financially and to "make the world a better place" against three teenagers empowered by aliens to stop them! It's worth reading in my opinion, but not up there with my favorite TT novels.

Lizz Taylor | 218 comments Love that idea since we all have different interests in books. I am hoping to finish Cassandra in Reverse by month end but had to read Book of Elsewhere for our local book club and it took a lot to get through it.

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 124 comments As I write Time Travel novels, I'll have to read the one I am just finishing writing!

Irwin Wislesky | 5 comments It would be great to provide a slot where those of us who have written time travel novels can promote our own by providing reviews or a synopsis to generate interest. It might generate more interest in the group and enhance participation.

Lizz Taylor | 218 comments I don't write books but appreciate the authors who are in this group and would love a place to discuss.

Irwin, your book was certainly thought-provoking Irwin. I know I enjoyed it. My mom who reads mostly non-fiction clearly didn't appreciate it as much as me. But she did say "Very creative interpretation of time travel." I thought so as well.

Anna, Mistake in Time is still on my Want to Read list.

There's a thread in this group, Irwin https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...
and you can promote there.

Cheryl (cherylllr) (There is also a mechanism for offering free copies of your book to members. Please PM Nancy as she understands it better than I do.)

Cheryl (cherylllr) But remember, friends, this is just the intro thread. Comments will be by month; please see the other new thread in this folder.
