How to Make Friends with the Dark

I just finished reading this and here is my final review:

UGH SO GOOD! Definitely 5 stars, yes it was super sad but super worth it.

I won't contain any spoilers in this of course ~ but I loved every one of the characters in this book. (Lala, Thaddeus, Sarah, and Leonard have my heart) (also I like to think that Shayna and I are awfully similar hehe)

This book is about grief and loss, but in my opinion, the bigger theme is the ways of motherhood and mother/daughter relationships. It really made me tear up and think about my relationship with my mom, and how it's similar yet different.

i HIGHLY suggest this book ~ or any book by this author for that matter!
