Fav character: Bella. We love a carefree spirit just listening to her heart and following her own path to happiness. She turns out to finish many things she’s started if her best friend would just keep her eyes open better instead of being selfishly wrapped in her own lie of a life. Thoughtful and caring with apt details.

Least fav character: Frederick, Bella father. Doesn’t even care enough to be on the same CONTINENT while his own daughter dies.

Rating: 4.4

Favorite Character: Bella. She is a free spirit who does what she wants with no regrets or no remorse. She follows her passion for art and romance to where ever she wants. The only interesting part of Dannie's life. Without her then Dannie's only focus in life is her law career and not marrying David.

Least Favorite Character: Dannie. What a monster! She leads on her boyfriend/fiance who she actively wants him to propose just to not have any real intentions to actually ever marry him. Then she sits around boohooing and complaining that her only friend she has is life is out in the world and living her life. And then bam! Her best friend gets cancer after meeting the love of her life and whats Dannies first thought? "Man I wanna kiss this man while shes actively dying". What a selfish and self-righteous bitch. Boooo!

Ranking: 5.5 - Weak plot, weak characters. Easy read and it was easy to get through the story but you can't reflect on the book without everything about it completely falling apart.

Overall I enjoyed reading it but after thinking and discussion I don’t think this is a very deep novel and could’ve been written better

Favorite Character: Bella. She was a great friend who lived life for passion and showed Dannie she was capable of doing the same. She went through the most tradgedy in the novel yet continued to help her friend, despite said friend stabbing her in the back and sleeping with her fiance on the day of her funeral.

Least Favorite Character: Bella's mom (Jill I think?). She was melodramatic for attention when her daughter had cancer and had to be convinced to go back to her while she was on her death bed.

Rating: 6.0. I enjoyed the ride and was engaged in what would happen next but after further discussion and review, the author relies too heavily on telling us how the characters feel of showing us through plot devulpment and character interactions. Overall, the story is also a bit too simplistic.
