Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments I just finished my PIFM for May, Always Watching. I gave it 4 stars because it caused me to continue reading late into the evening. It was pretty good, but not Chevy Stevens' best.

Amber Martingale Finished my May PIFM yesterday.

Kirsten (kmcripn) Cutting it a little short, aren't you, Vasudha?

message 361: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 1126 comments Haha I read my PIFM May book straight away I think. The problem with the books I pick is usually that they're all books I REALLY want to read so am left twiddling my thumbs waiting for the first of the month to roll around lol. Mine was No Time for Goodbye by Linwood Barclay in May. I've read 5/7 of my May PIFM reads so far.

Actually, I had some books I had bought a few months ago which I hadn't read, so I felt a little guilty and finished them before I could get started with the PIFM

If I enjoy a book I do tend to power through them in a day or two. I can take a week to read a book I'm really not enjoying but thankfully that doesn't happen too often!

message 365: by Brenda (new)

Brenda | 2434 comments I finished my May PIFM book, The Likeness by Tana French. It was an intricate and in-depth look at human nature, as well as a murder. There were so many statements that I enjoyed, and I should have saved them as quotes. Hindsight.

I thought it was a great book, Brenda, been a while since I read it.

Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments I finally finished my second place pick, Close to the Bone (Theresa MacLean, #7) by Lisa Black . I enjoyed the forensics and the protagonist. It's not the best mystery I've read, but it kept my interest.

Vasudha (vasudhaka) Will finish mine today!
