Thanks Janet for the work.
Good idea for the voting, I think I might need your help, I have two books, but I do not mind reading both.
But I am happy if you vote anyway, even if you don't have your own.
I do believe if you add a list and want people to vote for you, then you should vote for everyone else, whether you know the book or not, it's fun.

My pre-op was yesterday and the exam was nothing like it was the last time. The equipment was something else. I wonder how the "Doctors Without Borders" do this surgery in the jungle.

Patricia, hope the op goes really well. And I'd happily get in the car with you and let you drive this UKer around!! ;-)
Janet wrote: "Patricia, hope the op goes really well. And I'd happily get in the car with you and let you drive this UKer around!! ;-)"Actually, I would love to visit the UK and have you drive me around. It is one of my dreams on my bucket list.
Janet wrote: ":-)"Your message is a mystery. By the way, just dreaming about a vacation to the UK. I can't find the time to visit my sister in Kentucky.
Yes, Patricia, I did realise it was a dream. Just like my going to the States is not going to happen anytime soon. Was just being friendly.
Janet wrote: "Yes, Patricia, I did realise it was a dream. Just like my going to the States is not going to happen anytime soon. Was just being friendly."The mystery I was referring to was your post #160. Is that some sort of code?

Yep, I am serious. I have used that very smily face at least 1000 times in the last dozen years. At least.
It reminds me of my mom. She loves her cat, so I ended a text to her with:>^..^<
She asked me if that was a math problem.
I said it's a cat
Later that day she sent me
<..>
I said what is that a clam? An alien?
She said I don't know, it's all I got

LOL, E! I love the cat. And I think Perri is right about the clam. HAHA!
Hadn't even occurred to me that Patricia didn't see that as a smiley face?!!! I love the cat and clam! Brilliant!!
E. - thanks for the link to emoticons! I knew the smiley face but there are so many more. I might just impress my kids!
Looks like I will be reading The Blackhouse - Peter May, I also managed to pick up the other two recently :)

That sounds great, Sean!! I will read Missing sometime in the next month. Taking a go at David's Alloria first.

Janet or anyone else, with an opinion-May is around the corner :)

Janet wrote: "Easy one, Perri! Used to love watching Agassi play. Definitely that one gets my vote! :-)"Janet, did you vote for me yet? By the way, had my cataract surgery today and so far so good. I asked my doctor about her bio which said she graduated Med School from Tulane , She said it was 2 months before Katrina. Then she volunteered that the 100 year old hospital at Tulane is probably going to be destroyed because of the damage. What a shame!
