I’ve been classifying some awards and contests to help my wife submit to relevant organizations. As a nerd, I created a script to get the website traffic to help evaluate the award.

Thank you for posting. It was interesting to look at.
I'm confused. Is this just for promotional purposes? Why aren't Newbery and Caldecott, etc., listed?
I get the unfortunate vibe that I should make note of these awards and actively dismiss results for most of them. Especially from the "submit an award" feature. Like, I could invent an award that says "Cheryl's Best Books of the Year."

I am glad that I am not the only one who is getting a weird and unfortunate vibe here.

I looked over the list, and I did not see any of the ALSC awards: Newbery, Caldecott, Coretta Scott King, Pura Belpre, Sibert, or Geisel.
Although the American Indian Youth Literature Award was listed, I didn't see the Sydney Taylor Award, the Schneider Family Award, or the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature.

Other friends were also struggling to decide which award to submit, so I decided to make it public and also a collaborative spreadsheet (it’s an Airtable, actually).
